Can a website change the world? |
Maybe not, but it can help you (and those that supporter you) have influence in their community.
The internet has changed the way people communicate. Additionally, the influence of email, discussion boards, chat rooms, blogs and on-line engagement tools has formed a new way of connecting to others in our society.
The internet is simply another way to connect people and connect people to information. There are no shortcuts on the internet. The internet like any other medium of communications requires you to build a relationship between people and you or an organization. We need to remember that in today’s information-overloaded culture it is hard capture and retain the viewer’s attention. So how do you construct a website that engages and retains people?
ITrepublic is building the tools to help. We are creating websites that foster relationships over the internet and help disseminate ideas (spread news and opinions). We have built a very effective internet tool that move issues, builds and enhances campaigns and helps you to talk directly to people.
Does your website help elected officials understand your opinion and the opinions of the community they serve? What if your website gave your community (and those that supporter your issues) an ability to take action. People want to help, but they have busy lives – give them the tools to help.
Or maybe the media is not reflecting your opinions or those of a group in the community? Take action by helping them write emails to the media directly. Give them the tools and the information.
Is there an important issue that needs action? Make it easy with an online petition. Also help your supporters spread the word by helping them tell-a-friend – spread the news through ‘viral communications’ (Viral Marketing).
Do you need to keep in contact with your supporters and find new supporters? We can help you with E-Newsletters, email lists, and online sign-up forms.
